Hi, I’m Suresh! I grew up right here on Weligama Beach, learning to read the ocean before I could read books. I started Liza Surf School to share the magic of this place with surfers from all over the world.
When you surf with me, you’re not just getting a teacher — you’re getting a local friend who knows every sandbar, every tide, and every secret spot along the coast.

Location
We’re located right on Weligama Beach, on the south coast of Sri Lanka. The bay’s gentle curve creates perfect beginner-friendly waves year-round, with the best conditions from November to April.
